Insurance
Out-of-network and superbills
Kraft Psychotherapy is an out-of-network, self-pay practice. A monthly superbill is provided on request, which many clients submit to their insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Depending on your plan, out-of-network benefits may reimburse a portion of each session, often 50 to 80 percent. Reimbursement is determined by your insurer and is never guaranteed, so it is worth calling them to ask about your out-of-network mental health coverage.
Payment
How to pay
- Credit or debit card
- HSA / FSA card
- Venmo
Payment is due at the time of each session.
Your Right to an Estimate
The Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost. I am glad to provide one, and you can read more about how it works.

Why I am out-of-network
Working out-of-network keeps the therapy fully yours. Insurance billing requires a mental-health diagnosis on file, can limit how many sessions you are allowed, and sometimes reviews your records. Going out-of-network keeps all of that out of the room, so the work is shaped by what you actually need, and your privacy stays intact.
